About

echoforum is an online platform conceived as a showcase for presenting scientific work on cardiovascular imaging. This idea emerged from the need to focus on own research, standing out from a current vast amount of publications found listed on Open Access sites as PubMed or Google Scholar.

This is an Open Science driven site. Research projects are discussed in periodically held internal meetings, currently taking place at the Department of Cardiology, Angiology and Pneumology of the Heidelberg University, and organized by the Echocardiography Research Group. Links to published results are presented here, and commented when needed.

Open Education related sites are echobasics, a free online echocardiography tutorial, and echocompact, a website to promote hands-on echocardiography workshops.
